Cable TV Service and Internet in Costa Rica

For me there is nothing like being able to sit down in front of the TV. with a beer and pizza after a long day of work. In Costa Rica there are a couple of options for cable companies and one for satellite. Cable Tica is probably one of the largest and well known throughout the country.

Compared with the United States, Cable Tica they have great pricing and a great choice of channels. They offer a wide variety of channels from the Disney channel, Discovery channel, History, HBO and Cinimax. This is all under their basic cable service and will cost around thirty dollars.

Zarcero is located just outside of Naranjo if you are traveling to Ciudad Quesada. As airports go, San Jose international (SJO) is one of the best that I have ever had the pleasure of flying in and out of. Though a rather small airport in comparison with other travel destinations, it is very well maintained. The bathrooms are very clean and well kempt as routine cleaning is done regularly. As far as food goes, don’t expect the dozens of choices you would find at most larger airports but it is modestly equipped with a Burger King, Church’s Chicken, Papa John’s Pizza and a small salad and sandwich shop. The Brazilians have stolen my heart, as well as my stomach. I love food. Let me rephrase that, all kinds of foods, but especially those that involve meat. Since I’ve been living in Costa Rica, I’ve notice that you can’t find a decent piece of steak. They tend to be thin, flimsy and lack the juice I crave. Zipping through trees at a height of over five hundred feet is the only way to see the rain forest. What is a zip line? Well a zip line is essentially a long metal cable that stretches from one platform to another. Then a harness is hooked around your waist and a handle bar is provided to make the experience more comfortable. Arenal Reserve has much to offer for the adventurist, but one of my favorite activities is the night time rainforest raft tour. When I thought of doing this tour I expected to have several people with me, as we sat waiting at my hotel I saw several busses of people going off to their adventures. Pretty soon after a van with a raft in tow pulled in, I realized my group would be the only one going on this adventure.
